We are thrilled to be hosting the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada from September 30 - October 4, 2017.

This event will bring together energy cities from around the world to facilitate knowledge sharing, technology transfer and new idea generation. We are also excited about this opportunity to include business delegates from our member cities and promote relationships, industry development, academic and cultural relationships to benefit individual cities.

Features of the 2017 WECP AGM include:

  • Pre-scheduled B2B meetings with relevant, pre-qualified businesses and other stakeholders meeting.

  • Engaging keynote and panel sessions that are current and pertinent.

  • Participation in the 35th Annual Core Energy Conference. This event is a mainstay in the Atlantic Canada energy landscape offering a robust agenda focused on all aspects of energy from off-shore, on shore, renewable and non-renewable energy sources for domestic and global consumption. • Copious amounts of Halifax hospitality, wonderful local entertainment and an abundance of delicacies from sea and land.

The WECP AGM offers not only an incredible educational opportunity, with highly focused content on helping municipalities grow and retain a strong energy focused economy but also succeed in an extremely competitive and ever-changing environment. Please accept this personal invitation to join me, and our fellow World Energy Cities Mayors and business delegates in Halifax this fall.
